The state government approved 123 km lengthy Ring Road for the city and the price of Rs 1220 crore. The decision was taken at the cabinet subcommittee on infrastructure chaired by Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal moved the plan on the behalf of his department.
